The Vitocal 300 air/water heat
pump extracts heat from the air outside, enough to heat
comfortably and inexpensively.
Back-up even when it’s freezing
outside
Since heating capacity drops at low
air temperatures while as a rule more heat is required,
the Vitocal 300 air/water heat pump may in individual
cases need assistance. Your heating contractor can give
you competent advice about boosting your heating system
with a Viessmann oil- or gas-fired boiler or an electric
supplementary heater.
Stand-alone or as supplement
The Vitocal 300 air/water heat pump
can either look after heating and hot water on its own
or work with support from an existing heating system.
The individual case depends on energy consumption and
the climatic situation locally.
Vitocal control unit: optimally
prepared
The Vitocal 300 control unit has been
set up especially for parallel operation with a second
Viessmann heat source. Once the heat pump supplies
enough heat, the Viessmann heating boiler switches off
automatically, thereby saving heating energy.
CD 60 digital control unit: your
hot wire to heat
The weather-compensated CD 60 digital
control unit permits not only function monitoring but
also particularly straightforward adjustment of the heat
pump. The display – like the integrated diagnostic
system – is in plain text which makes to easier to
select or deselect functions. The CD 60 is also
ready-configured for when you wish to add a solar
heating system.
